HIGH VOLTAGE (HV) AND LOW VOLTAGE (LV)
Socabelec East Africa provides complete cost-effective solutions for High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) power systems. We have vast sector expertise which enables us to specialize in the analysis, design and ultimately the implementation of all types of construction, maintenance and testing associated with HV and LV power networks.
Socabelec EA offers support in the form of project management, project engineering and practical consultancy services. We aim to give the client accurate installation / design guidelines which can be used 'onsite'. We can also offer an emergency call out facility to help restore power in the event of a loss in the electrical supply. Socabelec staffs are authorized to carry out HV switching duties and can work in EX- work zones e.g. electricity for high explosive risk level.

Predictive Maintenance
Predictive Maintenance is worldwide proven as the most cost effective. Condition Based Predictive Maintenance involves the trending and analysis of machinery performance parameters to detect and identify developing problems before failure and extensive damage can occur.
Preventive and contract maintenance
We offer maintenance contract that covers changes to any part of your system. You can choose from 1 of 3 available contract types, Bronze, Silver or Gold. For more details of our maintenance packages please contact us.
Installation and Commissioning
By ensuring that the equipment is installed, tested and commissioned by the manufacturer in accordance with the factory recommendations, our final customers can have the greatest confidence that the equipment installed will operate to specification from day one. Our installation, testing and commissioning service includes:
- Confirm receipt of all materials/equipment and inspect them for physical damage
- Verify system documentation
- Equipment installation
- Perform functional and operational tests on new equipment
- Installation supervision of 3rd party contractors
- Perform all required electrical tests to verify proper operation
- Inspect the system before applying power
- Provide training for customer personnel
We also provide high-end engineering support.
